Biography

Claudia Marin de Cansaya, born in Arequipa Peru, opened her eyes among photo cameras, lenses and photo films, daughter of the talented professional photographer Rafael Marin. Her interest in photography started since childhood, experimenting in the dark room and collaborating with her father’s assignments.

In parallel to her studies of Advertising and Media at “Universidad Catolica Santa Maria”, she contributed as photojournalist for the newspaper “Arequipa al Dia”.

After graduating in Advertising and Media, took photo for advertising courses in the Center of Photography in Lima.

Shot photo advertising, fashion, editorial and managed the new branch of the reputable Foto Marin Studios in her hometown Arequipa.

Now in the United States, she works as a freelance photographer, serving the Saint Charles County in Saint Peters, Missouri.
